To do:

• study page 224 + 225
• Research Irena Sendler (1910-2008). Find out what she did, how it broke the law, and why she thought it was a good thing to break the law.

To conlude

• Place a seat in a prominent position facing the class.
• Explain that the seat has been imbued with magical qualities and that anyone who sits in it becomes a member of the local vihara.
• Ask for a volunteer to sit in it.
• Ask the volunteer questions about the lesson.
• The volunteer must answer in character.
• You could open the questioning to other students, but stress that the questions must be about what was covered in the lesson!
• Don’t let it go on too long, and change volunteer often.
