1. Read the texts: read the text twice, make annotations, use one of the strategies you learned to organize your annotations in a logical way.

2. Create a solid thesis statement: based on the GQ, be specific, not vauge.

3. Use evidence to support your argument: Choose relevant quotations and examples that directly support your argument

4. Make a plan: make a detailed paragraph plan.
