Bijvoorbeeld:

He is walking to the dentist at the moment.

Hoe maak je de present continuous?

to be (am - is - are) + hele werkwoord + ing

Dus bijvoorbeeld: 

She _______ (to eat) icecream.

She is eating icecream.

is = to be.  eat + ing.

3. We are dancing all night long.

4. She plays the piano.

5. They are my parents.

What is the difference between present simple and present continuous?

Present simple:

- Gewoontes, feiten (iets dat regelmatig gebeurt)

- Te herkennen aan: always, usually, normally, every day, etc.

- Shit-regel, het werkwoord verandert (ww+s)

Present continuous:

- Dingen die nu gebeuren, op dit moment

- Te herkennen aan: right now, now, at this moment, etc.

- To be + ww + ing

My dad always watches the news.
