  • We use present simple in both parts.

b) If I pass the test tomorrow, I’ll be happy = possible and likely.
  • Both parts of the sentence are talking about the future, but after ‘If’ we use present simple.

c) If I found some money on the street, I would spend it = possible but not likely.
  • We use past simple and would.

d) If I had caught the bus, I would have been on time = impossible to change. 
  • We use if + past perfect and would/might + have + past participle.
