Past simple, past continuous and present perfect

what do you remember from the past simple, the past continuous or the present perfect?

past simple

• een actie die in het verleden begonnen is en toen ook geëindigd is. 
• Je gebruikt altijd de past simple als je zegt wanneer de actie ondernomen wordt.
• de duur van deze actie is hierbij niet van belang
• onderwerp + ww + -ed. met onregelmatige ww, het derde rijtje

past continuous

• een actie die begonnen is in het verleden en een tijdje voortduurde totdat hij onderbroken werd
•  om een onafgemaakte handeling te beschrijven die onderbroken wordt door een andere gebeurtenis in het verleden.
• onderwerp + was/were + base + -ing

present perfect

• een actie die begonnen is in het verleden en op het moment van spreken nog steeds voortduurt. 
•  koppeling geven tussen het verleden en het heden.
• onderwerp + have/has + voltooid deelwoord.
