Gebruik je wanneer je wil vragen van wie iets of iemand is.

Bijvoorbeeld:

Whose house is that? 

Whose sister is that? 

 

Whose

Verwar het niet met "Who's"! 

Dit betekent "Who is....?"

 

Now write 3 sentences that start with "Whose..." and 3 that start with "Who's..." 

You work alone & you have 3 minutes

Example: Whose house is this?

& Who's that girl?

Now check your neighbours work!

Check eachothers work.

Possessive 's

Je gebruikt ’s om bezit aan te geven of dat iets bij iets/iemand hoort.

Bijvoorbeeld:

That’s his sister’s dog 

 

Possessive 's

LET OP: eindigt het zelfstandig naamwoord al op een -s, voeg dan alleen ‘ toe!

Bijvoorbeeld:

My parents’ dog  

The girls’ dresses 

 

Now write at least 5 sentences that have a possessive 's in it,
