Word order

who / does / what / where / when

He watched a film on television last weekend.

He = who, watched = does, a film = what, on television = where, last weekend = when

Adjectives

You can also add an adjective to a sentence. 

They are used to give more information about a noun. 

You place them before the noun.

He watched a funny film.

My mum had a nice birthday.

We bought new bikes.

Sometimes you place an adjective after the verb instead. 

with verbs such as : 

to be/ to look/ to appear/ to seem

They look silly in those hats.

I am happy to see you!

She seems interested in politics.

Find out the adjective:
I tink your new shoes rock!

Find out the adjective:
She seems nice enough.

Which sentence is in the correct order?

1. We drink coffee at the cafe every weekend.
2. At the cafe we drink coffee every weekend.
3. We drink every weekend coffee at the cafe.

What is the correct place of the adjective in the sentence.

1. She has eyes blue and is pale.
2. I found books that are cool at the bookstore.
3. The pale girl looks funny.
4. In the night black there are no stars.
