Negations (ontkenningen)
If you want to say something that is not true or isn't right, than you have to use a negative sentence. You have to look at the person before you can use the right form of the verb:

You add 'do not' before the verb: do not like for I/you/we/they
You add 'does not' before the verb : does not like for SHIT

I don't (do not) like vegatables. She doesn't (does not) like vegetables.

Exceptions (uitzonderingen)
With some words, you use other forms of negations.
To be (am, is are): am not, is not (isn't), are not (aren't)
To can:                  cannot, can't 

I am not 12, I am 13 years old. 
She cannot help me, you can. 
We aren't married, we are boy- and girlfriend.

Questions (?)
You can also make questions in the present simple. Use: 
Do/Does at the beginning of a sentence. 

Do you know the answer?
Does she know the answer? 
Can I go to the toilet?                   Can she go to the toilet?
Am I too late for class?                 Is she too late for class?
