Strategies 
  1. Identify wheter a diagram shows changes over time or differences in one fixed time. This determens what vocabulary and grammar you need to use describing the graph. 
  2. Study the diagram carefully to check that you understand over what period of time the diagram gives information. 
  3. Make sure you know what the diagram is giving you information for, what is related to the diagram?
