Goal of today

I can make questions and negations in future tenses. 

What are your holiday plans?

Will or going to?

voorspelling zonder bewijs: It think it will rain tonight!

voorspelling met bewijs: It is going to rain tonight. I saw it on the news this morning. 

plan/ beslissing op dit moment: I will get some ice cream. 

plan/ beslissing op langer termijn: i'm going to see my grandparents this weekend. 

Making negations: recap

place not/ n't after a form of to do or verb. The main verb changes to infinitive. 

She won't/ will not eat that. 

Geen afkorting bij questions:

verb - subject - not

Will she not eat that?

That dog is seriously injured and is breathing heavily.
It looks like it ... (to stop) breathing any minute now.

You know what? I ... (to send) him a postcard right now.

Perhaps it ... (to rain, ontkennend!) tomorrow, so we can take the bike instead of the car.

Questions Will/ Shall 

* 'will' naar voren schuiven

* I & We gebruiken we shall

We usually prefer ‘will’ in modern English for affirmative and negative sentences. However, we still use ‘shall’ to form questions with ‘I’ and ‘we’, especially in British English.
