These modals (helping verbs/auxiliaries) are used to say that something is necessary / has to happen. 

But when do you use which one?

1. Should =used to give advice

2. have to/has to = It is required; coming from another person

3. must = certainty, necessity, very strong advice

                    prohibited (not allowed): must not

should

You should go to bed earlier. You are always so tired!

SHOULD =  giving advice

MUST

We must not swim here. There are alligators!

Must (not) = a person opinion about what is necessary to do (or not do)

HAVE TO

You have to wear a seatbelt.

have to =It is required

                   (by someone else)

A modal is followed by an infinitive (hele werkwoord)!

You have to take your medication. (what doctor says)

I should eat something. (advice)

We must go to bed early. Our plane leaves at 4:00am
(personal opinion about what is nevessary)

The modal (here: should) doesn't change

Have to

The verb only changes with a he/she/it:

I	have to	go	to school.
You	have to	go	to school.
He/she/it	has to	go	to school.
