Wanneer gebruiken we de past continuous?

Je gebruikt de Past Continuous als je wil zeggen dat iets op een bepaald moment in het verleden een tijd(je) aan de gang was. 

Wat is de regel?

was/were + werkwoord met -ing erachter.

Wanneer gebruik je was of were?

Wanneer gebruik je de Past Continuous?

1. Wanneer iets altijd, nooit of regelmatig gebeurt.
2. Wanneer iets een tijdje bezig of aan de gang was in het verleden.
3. Wanneer iets in het verleden is gebeurd.
4. Wanneer iets in het verleden is begonnen en nu nog bezig is.

Wat is de regel van de Past Continuous?

1. was/were + werkwoord met -ing erachter

3. to be + werkwoord
