The man, who is blind, can sing beautifully.

She gave me a ring, which is purple. 

The purple ring that she gave me is beautiful.

Relative pronouns: bezit

The man whose voice is beautiful can sing loudly.

This is the boy whose wallet was stolen. 

The girl  whose hair was green was very young.  

In dit geval gaat het om bezit: (NL= van wie, wiens)

Betrekkelijke bijzin = betrekking op iets uit de hoofdzin. 

Relative pronouns: na een voorzetsel

The man to whom I wrote a letter is very old.

She is the girl with whom I want to go out.

He is the kid for whom I bought an icecream. 

Schrijf van de volgende zinnen de betrekkelijk bijzin op:
1. I like friends who are honest.
2. The candy that you bought at the store.
3. The boy, who is wearing Nikes, is fourteen.
