Present perfect

has/have + past participle

iets zeggen over een actie of gebeurtenis die permanent of van lange duur is;

“He has lived in London since 2002.”

Present perfect

has/have + past participle 

iets zeggen over het verleden wat nu nog van belang is

“I have worked as an engineer for 2 years.”

Present perfect continuous

has/have + been + verb + ing

Een herhaalde actie beschrijven die is begonnen in het verleden en doorloopt in het heden

“He has been going to evening classes.”

Present perfect continuous

has/have + been + verb + ing

Iets zeggen over situaties die zijn begonnen in het verleden en doorlopen in het heden.

“I have been waiting here for an hour.”

I’ve painted the house blue (P.P).
