Flash Fiction Challenge

Leerlingen schrijven een flash fiction verhaal gebaseerd op iets dat hun geïnspireerd heeft tijdens een schoolvak of -activiteit. Dat noemen we the spark. Ze schrijven geen samenvatting maar gebruiken the spark als een springplank naar andere ideeën of gedachtes.

Hier maken ze een fictief kort verhaal van. Dit verhaaltje is de flash.

Wat kunnen de leerlingen winnen?

De genomineerde leerlingen en hun docenten krijgen een uitnodiging voor de finale. Die is op vrijdag 16 mei 2025. De locatie en het tijdstip van de finale worden op een later moment bekend gemaakt. Alle genomineerden ontvangen van de sponsor ABC Center een boekje waarin hun verhaal is afgedrukt. Tijdens de finale worden de runners-up en winnaars bekend gemaakt. Zij maken kans om boekenbonnen te winnen.

Elk ingezonden stuk bestaat uit 2 delen:

The spark:

een korte beschrijving van het ‘aha’-moment. Waarom kies je dit moment en hoe heb je het in een verhaal gegoten? Gebruik hiervoor maximaal 75 woorden. The spark mag ook in je moedertaal geschreven worden. Bij een spark in een andere taal moet de docent een vrije vertaling in het Engels of Nederlands erbij doen.

The Flash Fiction:

een fictief verhaal van maximaal 150 woorden.
