Euphemism/doublespeak
Not saying what you mean.
'hidden' meanings.
Replacing certain words with other words that are less offensive or vulgar.
A way to: soften unpleasant, tricky situations.

On the street = homeless
departure from life = death
a shirt not quite clean = really dirty
In doublespeak people deliberately change words to mislead others.
Politicians are experts:)

Can be presented as a written report (many details) or as a story about personal impressions and experiences.

Travel writing: gives detailed information about the attractions of a real place.

However,  'Little Driblling' does not really exist. But all the other places in the book are real.
Therefore is was voted to the book that best represents Britain.
