When do you use the future tense?

For activities/arrangements in the near future

¨Present continuous¨

am, are, is + ww + ing

Example: Tonight, we are going to a concert in 013. 

This afternoon, I am hanging up my plants.

 For future plans and intentions

¨Be going to¨

am, are, is + going to + infinitive

Example: We are going to spend our holiday in Spain this year. 

He is going to move to London in 10 years. 

 For predictions, offers, promises and warnings.

¨Present Future Simple¨

will + infinitive

Examples: I think I will go home soon.

She will help you move out if you want.

I will pick you up from the airport tomorrow.

All rhinos will go extinct if we don´t help them
