Do you remember the 5 steps to turn an active sentence into a passive sentence?
1: Het lijdend voorwerp of meewerkend voorwerp van de actieve zin wordt onderwerp.
2: Je voegt een vorm van to be in in de tijd van de actieve zin.
3: Het hoofdwerkwoord van de actieve zin verandert in een voltooid deelwoord. ( soms is dat al zo).
4: De rest van de zin schrijf je over.
5: Het onderwerp van de actieve zin zet je achteraan voorafgegaan door by.....

- begin met een hoofdletter.
- geen afkortingen van werkwoorden( geen don't etc.).
- eindig met een punt na de zin.

Characteristics of the different types of relative clauses:

Type 1:
• You need the complete sentence to know about who (person) or which thing/animal we are talking
• You use no commas in the relative clause
• You can often leave out who, which or that (but this is not possible when the word after who, which or that is a verb).
• You can choose whether you choose who/that and which/that.

Relative clauses:
Type 2:
- The sentence gives you extra information that you can skip and then you still know what or who we are talking about. 
-The extra information is after/ between (a) comma(s).
-You cannot use that, only who or which.
- You cannot skip who or which
