CONJUNCTIONS

Conjunctions zijn voegwoorden. Deze woorden dienen om zinsdelen aan elkaar te verbinden.

Conjunctions hebben verschillende functies, en kunnen hierbij de volgende zaken weergeven:

• (logisch) gevolg: so
• keuze: or, either..or
• opsomming: and, both...and
• reden/oorzaak: as, because (of), since, so that
• tegenstelling: (al)though, but, despite, however, yet
• tijd: until, before, after, when, while, as soon as
• voorwaarde: if, unless
