A 2022 study from research firm Resolution Foundation found that Brexit had reduced the openness and competitiveness of the British economy.
On January 11, 2024, an independent report by Cambridge Econometrics states that London has almost 300,000 fewer jobs, and nationwide two million fewer jobs as a direct consequence of Brexit.
