Speaking tips

• Watch English movies and shows without subtitles.
  
• Read more English books/comics to grow your vocabulary.
  
• Read English texts out loud.
  
• If you don't know what a word is in English, try to describe the word instead.
  
• Think out loud when you speak English to break silences:
  "Oh, that's a good question! Let me think..."
  "I need a moment to think about that. Let's see..."

Meet my family

• Read exercise 7 of lesson 3, unit 1. 
• You will listen to an audio fragment, so be quiet. 
• Read all the questions and fill in the answers.
• Difficult? You can read along with the text above exercise 7.

• Challenge: read exercise 12 of lesson 3, unit 1.
• You will listen to the same audio fragment, but you will answer different questions.

When we're done, we will check all of the answers together.

Get to work!

• You will do exercise 8, 9, 10 and 11.
  If an exercise says PAIR WORK you can work with a classmate.
  
  Remember to speak English. The teacher will walk around to make sure you do this!

• Done? Do exercise 13 with a classmate. Ask the teacher if you may use your mobile phone.
  After 15 minutes, each person will present their work to the class.
