2.Rehearse
3.Reinforce

Slide 17 - Diapositive

Teach
Explain and model the procedure for the class

Slide 18 - Diapositive

Rehearse
Students practice the procedure, observe them in action.

Learning a procedure is similar to learning a skill, and some students need a great deal of practice to be able to use a skill accurately and automatically.

If students don't get it.. Teach it again.

Slide 19 - Diapositive

Reinforce
Reteach, rehearse, practice, and reinforce the procedure until it becomes a habit-- a routine.
Be specific when affirming the action or deed, rather than by dispensing a generic word of affirmation.
