Past Simple

Je gebruikt de Past Simple als iets gebeurd is in de verleden tijd en ook beëindigd is.

Wij noemen de Past Simple de Verleden Tijd.

Het werkwoord 'to be' (zijn) kun je ook in de verleden tijd zetten: WAS & WERE.

 Vraagzinnen was / were

Het lijkt op het Nederlands.

 

Ik was ziek.

Jullie waren thuis.

Zij waren op school.

Was ik ziek?

Waren jullie thuis?

Waren zij op school?

De eerste twee woorden veranderen van plaats. De rest blijft hetzelfde.
