  • Je gebruikt bijwoorden om extra informatie te geven over hoe, wat of wanneer

Plaats in de zin:
  • Één werkwoord in de zin > bijwoord zet je voor het werkwoord
  • Twee werkwoorden in de zin > bijwoord zet je tussen de  werkwoorden in
  • Vorm van to be (am, are, is, was, were) > bijwoord zet je achter de vorm van to be

Voorbeelden:
  • I always wear a bodywarmer.
  • He has never worked a day in his life.
  • They are usually on time.
