SIMPLE & CONTINUOUS
Je hebt al de werkwoordstijd present simple geleerd. Deze gebruik je voor situaties in het heden, of voor dingen die gewoon zo zijn.
Voor elke Simple tijd is er ook een Continuous. Die speelt zich af in dezelfde tijd (hier het heden) maar je zegt er iets anders mee.

I play football - Okay, but are you playing now?
I watch Netflix a lot - Okay, but are you watching now?
(I hope not)
Simple :
het is waar over jou
Continuous
: het is nu bezig.
Hierover straks meer - nu eerst wat anders.
