Je gebruikt een bijvoeglijk naamwoord om iets of iemand te beschrijven. Een bijvoeglijk naamwoord zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord.

Bijwoorden 

Je gebruikt een bijwoord om te beschrijven hoe iemand iets doet. Een bijwoord zegt iets over het werkwoord. 

Bijv. Quickly press the spacebar. 

You have to drive slowly here. 

Hoe maak je een bijwoord? 

Je maakt een bijwoord door -ly achter het bijvoeglijk naamwoord te zetten. 

bijv. beautiful-beautifully
