Eleanor of Aquitaine (1122-1204)

Her father was Duke (hertog) William the 10th of Aquitaine 

In 1137 she married Louis VII of France. She was only 15 years old

Eleanor of Aquitaine grew tired of Louis VII

• Louis VII was only focussed on his crusade against the holy land.
• In 1152 four archbishops dissolved the marriage. 
• The pope did not agree.
