Tilikum is responsible for the deaths of three humans, including a top killer whale trainer from SeaWorld named Dawn Brancheau 

Purpose 

Gabriela Cowperthwaite: ''I hope you like the film. I dont know if it will change the way you feel about animals in entertainment parks. I didn't intend for it to do so. I just wanted to tell the real story . And I trust that once audiences are armed with the truth, they will make the best decisions by themselves and their familie.''

You can see that the whales don't have a good living environment. They are an animal that have great spiritual power not to be meddled with. This is why whales in captivity are all have been psychologically traumatized. There are not symptoms of an orca doing any harm in the wild.
