What are 'modals' ?


must (not)-> moeten/niet mogen. Jij vindt dat iets (niet) moet.

has to / have to-> moeten-> zekerheid, noodzaak of verplichting (iets moet van iemand anders)
don't have to / doesn't have to-> niet hoeven, het is geen verplichting

should (not)-> zou moeten. Je geeft advies of raadt iets af. 
ought to-> zou moeten. Je geeft advies.

I used to go to my grandparents and spend there several weeks on my summer holidays.
Once I woke up in the morning and found out that my earring was missing. I searched the __________ room and found the earing just behind the bed where I was sleeping. I bent down to __________for it but couldn't move back. I was just stuck inbetween the bed and the wall. I felt ___________ and that ____________! Luckily my grandma came to ___________me and moved bed aside. This made me feel __________. but luckily I came _________out of this embarassing ___________
