Questions: To be and auxiliary verbs (can, may...) ->  the verb at the beginning of the sentence.


You are the principal.           ->         Are you the principal?
You can tell me the time.    ->         Can you tell the time?
I may go to the bathroom.        ->       May I go to the bathroom?

You are the principal.           ->       You are not (aren't)the principal.
You can tell me the time.    ->       You cannot (can't) tell the time.   I may go to the bathroom.   ->   You may not go to the bathroom.

Staat er geen to be / to have got / can in de zin?
Dan gebruik je do / does om een vraag te maken.


Example: These animals live in Africa.
                     Do these animals live in Africa?
                    These animals do not (don't) live in Africa.
