Adverb:

Adjective: 
Bijvoeglijk naamwoord. Gives information about a person/thing/animal (noun). 
Examples: 
The beautiful girl. The awesome show
My curly hair. The blue car

Give (extra) information about the way something happens. 
Examples:

She dances beautifully. She walks quickly.

An adverb can also give information about other adjectives or adverbs

To walk fast, to run quietly, to sing perfectly

Er zijn ook adverbs of frequency
Die zeggen hoe vaak iets gebeurt.

Adverbs of frequency
Never, always, sometimes, often, usually. 
They never go to the movies. 
Bij een 'gewoon' werkwoord, komt the adverb ervoor. 

My sister is always late. 
Bij een vorm van to be & (can/will/etc) komt de adverb erachter.

Use the word I give you. 
Write down the word before and after where it's supposed to be: 
'usually' - She walks to school. 
Answer: She usually walks
