De ”e” valt weg bij werkwoorden als: have, take, make

klinker + medeklinker + e dan vervalt e

have    having

take    taking

make   making

Sommige werkwoorden krijgen een verdubbeling van de medeklinker

( de medeklinker wordt voorafgegaan door een korte klinker)
