General rule Past Simple:
Regular verbs: verb + ED
Irregular verbs: 2nd form (know by heart!!!!!)
Used when action is finished in the Past - WHEN is IMPORTANT
Signal words: when/ago/last night/last week/yesterday
General rule Present Perfect:
has (he/she/it) + past participle (-> regular verbs: verb + ED / irregular verbs: 3rd form)
have (I/you/we/they) + past participle (-> regular verbs + ED / irregular verbs: 3rd form)
Used when RESULT is import (WHEN NOT IMPORTANT), time/when not exactly clear or not mentioned: result/experience/recent action/started in the past & still going on
Signal words: for/since/already/never/ever/always/yet/before/how long/how ofen
