Present simple (When do we use it? What do we add when it's he/she or it?, Signal words are?)

Present simple

Used for: facts, routines, things that we do on a regular basis

S.H.IT rule = He/She/It = stam + s or + es

He/She goes to the shops (to go) 

I, you, we, they  -  verb doesn't change 

I/ you / we / they go to the shops

Signal words: Often, usually, always, every, regularly

Which verb helps us to make negatives and questions in the present simple?

The verb 'do' helps us

Uitzondering: Als we al "to be" of "have got" krijgen, gebruiken we dit met een vraag of ontkenning

Spelling regels

1. Basis regel: werkwoord + ing = wait >> waiting 

2. Werkwoorden die eindigen op -e = like >> liking

3. Werkwoorden die eindigen op -ie = tie >> tying

4. Werkwoorden die eindigen op één - l = travel >> travelling

5. Kort werkwoorden die eindigen op één klinker + medeklinker = run >> running
