Have (got)

Have got and have mean the same.​

​

We use have (got) to talk about possession, relationships, characteristics and illnesses.​

She has got two cats and a dog. / She has two cats and a dog.​

They´ve got a sister. / They have a sister.​

He’s got a beautiful voice. / He has a beautiful voice.​

I’ve got a terrible pain in my back. / I have a terrible pain in my back.​
