De leerlingen moeten weten dat de past simple -> verleden tijd is in het Nederlands. Daarnaast is het belangrijk dat ze weten dat walk --> walked wordt en dat ze voor sterke werkwoorden (irregular verbs) een lijst hebben in hun taakboekje. 

adjective = bijvoeglijk nwd 

adverb = bijwoord (eindigt bijna altijd op -ly)
