Direct speech: je citeert iemand alsof je diegene bent, doet iemand na -- 'En toen zei zij 'ja weet je dat wel zeker?' en toen zei ik 'ja echt waar!'

Indirect speech: je beschrijft wat iemand zei. -- 'En toen vroeg je of ik het zeker wist en toen zei ik dat het echt zo was.'

1. begin de zin met He asked if, She told me that, They asked if, You said that, etc.

2. zet de zin in de verleden tijd.

3. pas verwijzingen aan.

  • Indirect: He asked me if I liked the beaches over there.
