Na deze woorden kun je one/ones gebruiken:

- een bijvoeglijk naamwoord

- which

- this/ that/ these / those

- als zelfstandig naamwoord

Present Perfect

Present perfect: gebruikt om aan te geven dat iets in het verleden begon en nu nog doorgaat

Vorm: have + voltooid deelwoord.

Past Perfect

Past perfect: gebruikt om aan te geven dat iets vóór iets anders in het verleden is gebeurd. 

Vorm: had + voltooid deelwoord. 

Let goed op onregelmatige werkwoorden!

So what is the Past Perfect then?

Past Perfect

I had arrived at the classroom before the teacher did.

She went home after she had completed all her work.

Je ziet de past perfect vaak in combinatie met de past simple.

De gebeurtenis het verst in het verleden krijgt de past perfect.

Past Perfect

Let op signaalwoorden: After, before, when, as soon as.

After I had left the house, my brother woke up.

Before I went to the store, I had made a grocery list.

As soon as I had finished my chores, I played some games on my PS4.

When I arrived at work, everyone had already started working.
