Human Rights 

  • Human rights are rights and freedoms for all people everywhere, regardless of their nationality, gender, heritage, race, religion, language or other status.  

  • Human rights are protected and supported by international and national laws and treaties.

Het belangrijkste verschil tussen grondrechten en mensenrechten is territoriaal. Mensenrechten zijn universeel, zonder enige beperking. Een grondrecht daarentegen bestaat binnen een specifiek rechtssysteem, met de beperkingen die de wet toekent. Daarom domineert het concept van grondrechten in de staatswetten.

Conduct thorough consultations to understand diverse needs.
Articulate provisions for individual liberties and collective well-being.
Address conflicts between rights through consensus-building.
Establish enforceable mechanisms for monitoring and redress.
Reflect evolving societal norms and global standards through regular reviews and updates.
