Aim of the lesson

The aim of this lesson is to recognize and use the present simple and the present continuous and future language in a text/sentence.

Articles

- Focus on the SOUND the word starts with to decide which article.

A = word SOUND starts with a CONSONANT (medeklinker)

AN = word SOUND starts with a VOWEL (klinker A,E,I,O,U)

The Present Simple

Hoe kun je de "present simple" herkennen?

In een zin weet je of het een feit of routine is door naar signaalwoorden te kijken.

Woorden als every day (alledaags), never (nooit), always (altijd), every Wednesday (elke woensdag) vertellen je dat het over een routine gaat. Het komt vaak voor.

Als er geen signaalwoorden zijn, vertelt de zin u een feit.
