Herhaling: present simple (shit-rule) & present continuous (nu)

Wat is het verschil in de werkwoorden tussen deze twee zinnen?
1. I am listening to the teacher now?
2. I always listen to the teacher.

Present Simple (shit-rule)

Gebruik je bij een feit of een gewoonte:

- Water boils at 100 ºC (feit)

- I walk to school every day (gewoonte)

bij she/he/it komt er een -s achter het werkwoord

- She likes cookies. 

Iets gebeurt nu
Present continuous

Present Coninuous (nu/op dit moment) of iemand is ergens mee bezig

Jullie zitten nu in de Engelse les: 

- I am learning English now. 

- We are paying attention. 

- But Ben is gaming and is not paying attention.

Je gebruikt:

am/is/are en het werkwoord + ing

The past simple

Wanneer iets in de verleden tijd is gebeurd: 

- She played football yesterday.

- We needed to go to the hospital.

- We talked about music yesterday.

Wanneer je spreekt over iets dat in de verleden tijd gebeurd is:

werkwoord + ed

Onregelmatige werkwoorden

- We went to Disneyland last Christmas.

- He found his keys in his gym bag. 

In dat geval gebruik je niet het werkwoord + ed

Er is geen regel voor onregelmatige weerwoorden.
