1. When Christopher was chasing Toby in the story, you might have heard other people saying something like, 'Jesus. What are you doing?' or 'Oh Christ. Oh Christ.' Why did they say that?
2. There is a nice lady trying to help Christopher, but Christopher seems to reject her offer of assistance. Why do you think Christopher doesn’t want to accept help from the lady?
3. Who did Christopher finally ask for help to find his mother’s address? And was the person he asked helpful and kind?

  • Structure: use 'present simple'
  • Example: If you heat water to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils.
  • First: possible future situations, events, or actions.
  • Structure: use if present simple,  'will' 
  • If you study hard, you will pass the exam.
  • You will pass the exam if you study hard. (Change structure)
