What is a conjuntion?

Conjunctions are words that link other words, phrases, or clauses together.

Why are conjunctions important?

Conjunctions are the glue that holds sentences together

Conjunctions show the relation between different words to express much greater meaning.

Sentences without conjunctions

It is better to save money. Don't spend it all immediately. Think about the future. You might need to save. You might need to buy a house. It's tempting to spend it now. Don't.  Be responsible.

Same sentences with conjuctions

It is better to save money than spend it all immediately. Think about the future because you know you might need to save so that you can buy a house. Even though it's tempting to spend it now, you shouldn't; instead, you should be responsible.
