Sentence structure 

De basisstructuur van een Engelse zin is: wie doet wat/wie waar wanneer.

Julia walked to her school yesterday.

My friend and I played football at the pitch a week ago. 

My mother cleaned her room two days ago. 

Zet in de juiste volgorde:
at the zoo / saw / a week ago / an elephant / My family

Zet in de juiste volgorde:
shopping / went / the girls / this morning / at the mall

was / the weather / over the last weeks / very bad

Conjunctions (Voegwoorden)

Why do we use it?

Voegwoorden betreffen een opsomming, reden/oorzaak, gevolg, keuze of tegenstelling.

• I missed the last train, so I had to walk all the way home.
• I went there, because I wanted to.
• I have no choice, but to eat what they serve me.
• Tim is tired, however, he still needs to make his homework.
