1. -You can explain the difference between a owner occupied home and a rental house
2. You are able to describe the characteristics on  a map of a city center and an industrial area.
3. You can explain what urban renewal means.

Buy or rente a house?

Housing association

Organisation designed to provide people with cheap housing, social or private sector. 

Buying or renting a house?

Owner occupied: ownership. You have to maintain your house by yourself.

Rental home: The owner is a housing association or a landlord. You do not need to maintain it. There is no risk of value decline (getting les value for your house)  however, rents are increasing every year.

Bad conditions! > Urban renewal

- Small houses, badly built

> demolition and new build

> renovation

>> changed whole neighbourhoods in some places!

Renewal of residential areas in a city = urban renewal

City center = The old center from a village mostly with a church in the middle.

Industrial area= A special area for offices showrooms, factories and other companies.

City center = Center of the village, narrow roads, lots of amenities

Industrial area = at the edge of a town.
