What is a letter of enquiry:

- a formal document asking for information. (products,  services, vancancies)

What is a confirmation:

- a formal document confirming an order or appointment.

Exercise: 

Use the past continuous in the following sentences. Use the verb at the end of each sentence.

So we use:

- was or were

- verb (werkwoord) + ing

to create the past continuous.

I was teaching English yesterday. (to teach)

Always write / say ''You were'' not ''You was''
