But I don't want to jump to conclusions.

Definition
A paragraph is a group of sentences that focuses on a single theme, or main idea.
The main idea is the most important point that readers should know and understand in reading your paragraph.

What is in a paragraph
Topic sentence = introduce the main idea

Body= provide additional information

Concluding sentence= wraps up the paragraph, usually by restating the topic sentence.
