1. At the moment, we're talking to him about the project

2. I like it here because people are friendly

3. What do you do every day?

4. It's very hot in the summer.

5. Are you working on the school today?

6. We're painting a classroom on Thursday

Present simple vs Present continuous

Present simple:

a. to talk about routines or habits, especially with adverbs of frequency such as always, often, etc. and time expressions such as every day.

b. to talk about facts and general truths

c. with verbs that describe states: like, believe, hate, know, want

Present simple vs Present continuous

Present continuous:

d. to talk about actions that are happening now

e. to talk about actions that are happening around now (longer, ongoing action)

f. to talk about planned future arrangements

So what form does it use?

Form of Present Continuous

Person form of to be + verb + ing

I am teaching grammar right now

Tomorrow, my sister is going to the hospital

verb: 'to be'

What are they doing/wearing?

Write down what people are doing or wearing right now

What is happening in your house right now? What are you or other people doing?
