Comparatives and superlatives

Comparatives

WHEN: We use comparatives when we want to compare 2 things or people

Comparatives

HOW: we add -er to the end of the adjective or we use the word "more" before the adjective. 

Example: This car is faster than that car" or "She is more beautiful than her sister".

Superlatives

WHEN: we use superlatives when we want to compare more than two things or people

Superlatives

HOW:  we add -est to the end of the adjective or we use the word "most" before the adjective. 

Example: "This is the fastest car in the world" or "She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen".
