Slide 17 - Question ouverte

English and Spanish
America is a big and diverse country with many different languages spoken across its regions. In the Northern part of the United States, English is the most commonly spoken language. This is because English settlers from England came to this part of America a long time ago and English became the main language they spoke.

In the Southern part of the United States, Spanish is more commonly spoken. This is because many years ago, when Spain colonized parts of what is now the United States, they brought their language with them.
